I had a fun mini trip with my fiance (haha put finance first which is fitting as well since he loves talking about money and stocks) to celebrate our anniversary. We went to Monterey, Carmel and Pacific Grove (in CA). These three cities, as you can see on the map, are are all right next to each other. Monterey is known
aquarium which we spent the morning at. We then had yummy mexican
food in Pacific Grove. The food seemed really fresh which I love. After driving along the coast and watching surfers BRRRRR! and looking at all the beautiful houses we went on the
17 mile drive in Pebble Beach. This place is famous for the golf course which as hosted the US Open championships many times. Pebble beach is also known for all the mansions that are on the coast.

Sounds like a fantastic trip! The aquarium looks incredible! I had to do an in-school assignment awhile back drawing a bunch of the marine life in Monteray Bay. It was lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteoh so, so beautiful. my husband and i took a roadtrip down the pacific coast last fall and stopped along monteray. i wish so badly we would have done the 17-mile drive. we did get to see cannery row, though, so all was well. the west coast is just spectacular.
