I'm kind of in love with a candy store/bakery called Miette. It started in Oakland and has a few locations, one in Hayes valley in San Francisco. Every time I go near Hayes I have to stop in there to admire all the candies, cookies and the beautiful packaging. It makes me want to host a tea party or buy friends gifts filled with sugar. I always have to get their french macaroons because I'm pretty sure they don't have artificial colors like some other macaroon places, I also love that they use organic milk for the filling. And, of course they taste amazing!
Next time you are in the Bay Area make sure to go to their store. p.s. they also have baking classes! Swoon!
